Steve came to The Bridge in 2012. He and Wendy met in East Tennessee and got married in 1993. They served together in student ministry, and Steve took his first position as a youth pastor. They have three wonderful daughters—one in college and two in high school. The Pruitts moved to Dallas in 2003 where Steve got a Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and worked as a young adult and teaching pastor. Steve likes to play indoor soccer, fiddle with the guitar, and make things out of wood in his garage. He will choose a documentary if he finds the remote control, or a historical narrative if he gets to read a book. Steve has a burden for people who need Jesus and has a passion to help the church build community across generations.

Wendy Pruitt is the Children’s Director of The Bridge Church. She was an elementary teacher for 11 years and has a BS in Elementary Education with a Specialty in Early Childhood Development. She has served in children’s ministries and in youth groups since she was 19 years old. She is the mother of 3 girls and is married to Steve Pruitt. Wendy enjoys reading children’s books as well as collecting them. Often, Steve wonders where he is going to put all of them. She enjoys watching super hero movies with her family and chick flicks with her girls when Steve is not home. She loves cooking which includes grilling and enjoys baking as well. In summer, Wendy’s favorite place to spend time is the beach. She enjoys going with her family each year. Wendy would say that her favorite thing is to teach kids about life–the kind of life that is everlasting. Her favorite verse is Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” She enjoys serving people and loves to help people know Jesus.

Dennis has been at The Bridge for a little over a year. In March 2015 Dennis became the part-time Student Ministry Director of The Bridge. Upon the completion of his Master’s Degree in Teaching Dennis came on board full time as the Operations Pastor in December of 2016. Dennis has an extensive banking and accounting background along with administrative project management experience from an engineering firm. His undergraduate degree was in Pastoral Leadership and Biblical Exposition and he has spent the years since his graduation helping churches in a variety of positions. Dennis loves hanging out with his wife of 4 years, Sarah, and their 11-month old son Oliver. They enjoy staying active and chasing Oliver around the house. Outside of the Bridge Dennis enjoys Netflix, cycling, and working out. He has a passion to see every single person discipled so that they continue to look more and more like Jesus.

Antonio Thomas has been at the Bridge for a little over a year.  In October 2016, he became the full-time worship pastor for The Bridge Church.  Antonio has a passion for worship and music ministry.  For over 20 years he held positions of minister of music and worship pastor for various churches in the Atlanta area.  For 10 years, he toured the Southeastern US as director of the gospel group “Cantante”.  Antonio also served as musical director for recording artist Jamie Grace. And for 13 years he served as senior pastor of Freedom Christian Church.  Antonio holds a BA in Science and Religion from Liberty University.  Antonio enjoys watching sci-fi movies and playing with his children, writing, arranging, and playing music as a keyboardist.  He is also a vocal coach and enjoys preaching and teaching Bible study.  He believes in the unified diverse body of Christ and works towards exemplifying this philosophy within this local congregation. Cultural, ethnic, and generational differences can and must be celebrated under the umbrella of one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all.

Shaun is the office administrator.  She has spent much of her career in some field of administration, which she learned through a spiritual gift assessment, is her primary gift.  She truly enjoys organizing, creating systems and improving processes.  She is a wife and mother to two boys, JB & Justin.  She has an MBA and is a licensed Real Estate agent.  In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, nature walks, playing video games and entertaining family and friend. She is a worshiper and loves the Lord.
