What We Believe

  • We believe that the Bible is fully inspired by God, that it is entirely trustworthy and that it is the authority for faith and life.
  • We believe that there is one God, that He is personal, almighty and perfect; that He created all things and that He exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man, that He was born of the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. We believe He died in our place atoning for all human sin, rose bodily from the dead and ascended to the Father’s side.
  • We believe in the value and dignity of all people, created in God’s image to live in love and holiness but now alienated from God having become sinners by nature and by choice.
  • We believe that God in His great love for us has provided forgiveness for all who confess their sinfulness and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit imparts eternal life to all who believe, enabling them to believe in Christ, indwelling them, empowering them to grow in holiness and equipping them to serve God in the church and in the world.
  • We believe that all those who have believed on Jesus together constitute His Church. We believe that this universal Church is manifested in local churches which are to fulfill the Lord’s command to make disciples.
  • We believe in baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper. Water baptism is an outward sign of what the Holy Spirit has performed in the heart of the believer. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial of His sacrifice in securing our redemption.
  • We believe in the personal return and victorious reign of Jesus Christ, who will judge in equity and justice all people who have ever lived giving over those who were unrepentant to eternal condemnation but receiving the redeemed into eternal life.
